Life Insurance Corporation said it has launched two new non linked plans. Bima Account I and Bima Account II. There are mainly two variation of this insurance plan called LIC Bima Account 1 and LIC Bima account 2, which differ a bit in terms of premiums, tenure etc. No wonder that it’s the best time to launch the insurance plan as everyone is looking forward to invest for tax-saving, and when something has a tag of “Guaranteed returns” + “LIC”. The company claims to pay 6% return, but will it be 6% by the time it reaches your hand ?
Lets look at it ..
Moreover, in Bima Account I there is no requirement of undergoing medical examination. The entry age for the Bima Account I is from 11 years to 50 years while it is 8 years to 60 years for Bima Account II. The minimum premium is Rs 600 per month under ECS mode for Bima Account I, while it is Rs 1,250 under Bima Account II, it said adding that the minimum yearly premium for Bima Account I is Rs 7,000; and Rs 15,000 for Bima Account II.

Either you can ask for the loan or you can leave your policy only in this case if you paid for minimum, i think 3 years.
So as you have paid only for one year that is why it is not applied.

The early termination of an insurance product by the policyholder is know as surrender policy. As more people realise their mistake, they want to exit from such insurance policies. Unfortunately, however, early exit from insurance policies results in a huge loss. It has three stages early, middle and last stage.

Dear Hemant,

Motor Insurance provides for various coverages including damage to vehicle and personal injuries, death. But the cover so granted is valid only when the vehicle is driven by a Licence holder which is valid.

In your case since you don't hold a licence hence any claim in respect of damage to our vehicle as well to you in person can be rejected by the insurance company.

In case of personal accident policy, if a claim is filled on-account of your goodself being hit by another vehicle and at that time you was not driving any vehicle then insurance company are liable to pay the claim.

But in case, where a claim is filled on account of you being hit while driving the vehicle without the valid licence insurance company can reject your claim.

Hi,
I dont have a vision in my one eye hence cant get valid driving license as per RTO rules in Maharashtra, India. But I drive 2 wheeler on regular basis without license for last 3 years. In case of my accidental death (with or without mistake from my side) can my insurance company reject the claim?
I have already mentioned about my eye in the policy application form and also gone through medical test for eye while taking the policy.

Regards,

Mr. Praveen,

A policy can be surrendered only after it has achieved paid-up value, for which one has to pay at least 3 annual premiums.

in your case it is one year hence you are not entitled for refund of premium. you may cross verify the same with your policy issuing office.
