Health insurance for old age

   Hi,

   I am currently based out of India but with a goal to return to India in a few years time. I am 40+ now and would like to take a health insurance policy that covers me and my wife for the rest of our lives. Are there such policies available ? Can you make multiple claims on them ? Any help / guidance will be much appreciated

   Hi,

   Yes, these days insurance companies are providing mediclaim cover till life time, if policies are timely and continously renewed.

   During the policy period one can have multiple claims untill the sum insured is exhausted.

   Please note: Mediclaim policies like overseas mediclaim is not valid all over the world. Presently they are effective within the Indian jurisdiction.

   According to me I think that today many insurance company provides mediclaim for life time, I think that Old age has a dual definition. It is the last stage in the life processes of an individual, and many companies provides insurance for old age people.
