   Take help of your agent. Call your agent as soon as possible, even if the accident is normal its important for insurance co. to be aware of the incident.

   Ask the insurance agent or co. representative the following:
   1 Does my policy contain a time limit for filing claims and submitting bills?
   2 Is there a time limit for resolving claims disputes?
   3 If I need to submit additional information, is there a time limit?
   4 When can I expect the insurance company to contact me?
   5 Do I need to get repair estimates for the damage to my car?
   6 Will my policy pay for a rental car while my car is being repaired? If so, how much?

   If your claim involves a collision, file a police report and keep a copy of it. Get the name, address, phone number and name of the other party's insurance agency.
