ICICI Lombard - my health insurance policy is expiring, should I renew

   it is very strange that i took a health insurance and even I am not aware of what all they provide under this policy.

   How can I find out the benefits under this policy and how do I judge a medial insurance policy, i mean the paramters?

   the basic funda u have to apply that of 3Rs.

   Read- Read the policy document given to you. it is your contract and contains all the terms, conditions, exclusions of the policy features are the maximum liability of tyhe insurer.

   Realise- Find out whter it is the product u were looking 4. Do all check the details of the insured incorporated to avoid any confusion or dispute at later stage.

   Review- Find out with other insurer about their product, compare withn teh present anhd review your policy / decision and go with the best u feel.

   Parameters:Product, Insurer, TPa and your requirement

   check the expiry date of your policy and renew it with any insurance companies well in advance to enjoy the continued coverage benefit, for details read the policy documents and benefits illustarted therein.

   I think I will get it renewed but still I find it difficult to understand medical insurance.

   1) How can one benefit from media insurance (top 3 benefits)
