    Hi,
I am looking for a medical cover or my parents (Age 63 & 55). Please advise which company provides best services? I have been approached by agents from ICICI Lombard and Oriental insurance. Which one to choose? Which medical covers are most popular in market?
    Thanks.

    Hi,

Remeber the services are delivered by the agents and sales person mainly. So u need to figure out a knowledged and experienced sales person.

Both the companies are offering health insurance policies and are well accepted by people at large. but before u select any of the company u must compare the product and their policy terms and conditions.

Do remember to keep copies of proposal form and details of information you provide to your agent, as these are important. Do disclose the details of pre-existing illnesses, if any and enjoy being insured.

According to me I think that Medical insurance is really nice, I think medical insurance plans cover individuals and families, and secure your life. Due to rising costs of health care many insurers have enforced sub-limits for various kinds of expense.

I do agree with Vikash on need of experienced sales person and also ICICI Lombard and Oriental Insurance are good companies for health insurance but why don't you try for more options. Many other companies offer good flexible health plans. You will be able to figure out a better and suitable plan if you have more options.
Personally I would suggest Max Bupa, which, though, is a comparatively new health insurance provider in India but surely offers flexible health plans for family and individual needs with maximum medical cover.
