   After taking out the policy, one can claim for reimbursement of the expenses incurred on treatment undergone within the policy period and not pre-exisiting before the issuance of the policy.

   Today, cashless treatment (advance authorisation of payment ) is also provided by the insurance company through the help of TPA. In those cases, expenses incurred on treatment is directly paid to hospital by the insurance company.

   You can claim for reimbursement of medical expenses within your policy period. After taking health insurance policy, it can be reimbursed in the case of illness and accidents and you can access cashless facility at good hospitals.
   Also, some health care insurance providers facilitate you like, in case if you don’t claim in that period, some percent of your annual premium for this period can be adjusted for the next premium.
